This past weekend I spent working as the director of Minnesota Hockey’s Dave Peterson Reebok High Performance Goalie Camp. We had more than four dozen goalies – boys and girls in grades 9-12 – at the camp in Blaine.
It was a lot of fun working with this highly-motivated group of athletes who have their sights set on playing hockey after high school.
Another cool aspect of the camp is that I invite coaches from other goalie schools to help with the on-ice training. In all, we had 20 different college and high school goalies coaches work with these goalies throughout the weekend.
It was all about providing our state’s best goalies with an opportunity to learn and listen to our state’s top goalie coaches.
More information about the goalie camp is available on Minnesota Hockey website.
